Humbled for Us
Humbled for Us is a song about the love of Jesus shown through His humility and sacrifice. He left the glory of heaven, entered our brokenness and willingly gave His life on the cross so that we could be forgiven and set free. The song celebrates both the gentleness of the Servant King and the victory of the risen Jesus, who now reigns above every name.
Humbled for Us reflects on the journey of Jesus described in Philippians 2:5–11 (opens in a new tab). He did not hold on to His heavenly position, but willingly humbled Himself, came among us as a servant and remained obedient to the Father—even to death on a cross.
